Mr. Hunter,

This week as I prepare for the graduation of my son from college, I just wanted you to know that from the bottom of this mother's heart, I say "thank you." You were such a special influence on Chris and many a night he shared precious moments spent with you. Through your encouragement he kept pressing forward, though many times he wanted to quit. You went above and beyond your roll as a teacher and the influence you made will carry into the life of Chris. You were an answered prayer in the life of Chris in one of his most difficult times of life. You were not only a teacher, but a friend and role model. I am excited about Chris' graduation this Sunday and as he takes each step, I will remember the sacrifices you made on his behalf and the impact you made on his life.

After Graduation

I really do appreciate all that you have done and in my eyes you should have been "Teacher of the Year". We did get lost in the crowd and we stepped outside with Chris because he was so hot, and there were so many people. Chris was so happy that I did get to meet you because that is what mattered most to him. I told him how GOD lead me to you and when I glanced back I knew it had to be you. I wish you could have seen his smile when he said, "You did meet him momma."

I will keep you posted on Chris. He is putting in applications in the Tuscaloosa area in hopes of finding a job in his trade there. The picture is of him and his kids. They were another inspiration for him of wanting to make things better for them.

Thanks again for the inspiration you have been to my son and I pray GOD will Bless you indeed.
